New Man, SpiritLed Woman Now Web Only

The November/December 2007 issue of New Man magazine and the December/January 2008 issue of SpiritLed Woman magazine will be the final issues in print, publisher Stephen Strang said in a statement.
New Man peaked with a circulation of 250,000 in the late 1990s, and today has a paid circulation of about 80,000. “The men’s movement isn’t what it used to be,” Strang said,”and the Internet was hardly around when we started New Man. Now it’s the wave of the future.”
Much of the success of SpiritLed Woman was tied to SpiritLed Woman Conferences which have not been held since 2004.
The Web only edition of New Man is hosted at www.newmanmag.com, and SpiritLed Woman can be found at www.spiritledwoman.com.
“We think these are important brands and important audiences we intend to serve,” Strang said. “We just will serve them differently.”
